Local Business commended in Parliament National Responsible Business Champion Awards

Reliance Medical, based in Congleton, has been commended in the National Responsible Business Champion Awards in Parliament after being nominated by local MP Fiona Bruce.

The Parliamentary judging panel looked at nominations from MPs representing constituencies across the UK.

Andy Pear, Managing Director of Reliance Medical was invited to a reception in Parliament to meet with the judges and Fiona Bruce MP and celebrate the commendation, he said: “We were delighted and honoured to be nominated for this prestigious award by our local MP, Fiona Bruce.  Fiona has taken a real interest in our business and our team here in Congleton.  She was instrumental in helping us understand the process for a recent NHS/DOE tender, that we subsequently won.  It is a great asset to have such a proactive advocate in parliament for the business community within our town. ”

Fiona Bruce said “I am consistently impressed by Andy and Reliance Medical who manufacture truly innovative products and offer huge support to our local economy and community. They are highly worthy of this commendation as a Champion of Responsible Business.”
