Business commended in Parliament National Responsible Business Champion Awards
Reliance
Medical, based in Congleton, has been commended in the National Responsible Business
Champion Awards in Parliament after being nominated by local MP Fiona Bruce.
The
Parliamentary judging panel looked at nominations from MPs representing
constituencies across the UK.
Andy Pear,
Managing Director of Reliance Medical was invited to a reception in Parliament
to meet with the judges and Fiona Bruce MP and celebrate the commendation, he said: “We were delighted and honoured to be nominated for this prestigious
award by our local MP, Fiona Bruce.
Fiona has taken a real interest in our business and our team here in
Congleton. She was instrumental in
helping us understand the process for a recent NHS/DOE tender, that we
subsequently won. It is a great asset to
have such a proactive advocate in parliament for the business community within
our town. ”
Fiona Bruce said “I am consistently impressed by Andy
and Reliance Medical who manufacture truly innovative products and offer huge
support to our local economy and community. They are highly worthy of this
commendation as a Champion of Responsible Business.”
